I'm Jeff. Owner and founder of GILDED.
GILDED began as MAHI Outfitters.
Mahi Outfitters was an 8 year project; a long time. In the time it took to build MAHI Outfitters, we realized there was more value in the parts of the whole, than there was in the whole itself.
Gilded is a different brand. Its message is that life is Gilded. There is a lot of work that goes into life, and it is important to recognize precious moments, once in a lifetime opportunities; once in a lifetime people.
Gilded compromises nothing in quality. It is a collection of unique and limited items. We do our best to find these items. sourcing our unique relationships.

The Gilded fish logo is a simple shape of a unique species of aquatic life, found only in certain waters. The fish is one of the most colorful to eye, exhilarating to catch, and provides a bountiful table for those who you choose to dine with.

And as Robert frost's famous poem quotes, "Nothing gold can Stay."
We all honor our loved ones in different ways. It is in honor of a good friend that I chose this type of fish. This trademark is dedicated to Chris and anyone who loved him.
This adventure began back a few years ago. I realize how much other people in my life have helped me develop the tools and the skills to continue it. Friends family and colleagues.
My previous obligations took me around the world where I would snorkel and fish and swim and sail in some odd corners of the earth or some spec of an island. A gilded life.
GILDED is to be present enough to recognize where you are, the gift of experience.

Whenever I traveled, I thought, “what will I do when I get into this place?”
After taking a break from it, I reflect, “what will I do now? What will I do, now that all of those places and experiences have gotten into me!?”
I want to share those experiences with readers, shoppers and outdoor adventurers. But most importantly my friends and family.
It is my goal to share this brand, this message, in as many places of the world as have welcomed me.
Philanthropy is the tip of Maslow's pyramid….it is part of self-actualization.
As gilded grows, so too will our philanthropic endeavors.
